Fun Purse

A week ago I was asked to teach this FUN PURSE to a group of friends and what a FUN day it was. This version is made from patches of fabric, lined with a fun green fabric, snap closure. The outside scoop pocket will easily hold keys, cell phone or whatever you need to stash in a hurry. The purse is deep enough to hold lots or just your necessities. The strap is long enough to go cross body and is perfect for a trip to the market, theme park, walk with the dog or whatever your heart desires.
I will be posting these on my ETSY store in the very near future, make sure you watch for the other versions in future posts :-)

Also.....I plan to write up this pattern and it will be for sale on my ETSY store very soon too.

Special Order

A very special person ordered this for a very special friend of hers. The black fabric is diamond quilted (by me) and lined with black and just a tad of stripe trim on the inside and inside pockets. One outside pocket which is handy for cell phone or keys and finished off with a colorful ribbon that can be changed out to fit the season, our outfit or even just your mood.

Matching Set

I fell in love with this fabric and couldn't wait to make something out of it. The ever popular TOTE bag and the new style handbag seemed like a perfect fit.
Elegant, classy and just right.

New Style

In a previous post I told you that I was itching to do a bit of designing. I wanted a purse that wasn't too big and wasn't too small. I wanted one that had ONE strap from side to side. I wanted it to have a zip closure and sort of "swoop" down at the top.
This is how it was born. Looking for a name for my new bag....have any suggestions???

As I build up some inventory, I will be listing in my ETSY store, but for now...just drop me a line.

Most all of my bags have matching accessories available. These have the cell phone (camera) bag.

Tropical Brown

Tropical Brown sounds funny..doesn't it??? But it sure does look good on this tote bag. This bag is my medium size and is perfect for a day at the beach, a day at the office, a day of shopping, or just about anything you desire.

Strong, sturdy and loaded with pockets on the inside.

Matching Cell phone (camera) case available.

Erin's New Purse

Had an opportunity to do some designing this week and really like how Erin's bag turned out.
The fabric is green and black batik with lime green trim and lining.
One outside pocket and two inside pockets. Inside has plenty of room.
The purse zips closed and off you go.

I'm looking at my fabric stash now and thinking of all kinds of possibilities....watch for more to come.

Zippered Pouch

These cute little pouches were made especially for 4 special people.

They are approx. 5" tall and 8" wide. A perfect size for cosmetics, Ipod and earphones, lunch money, pens (Pencils) and just about anything.

Zip it up and you are ready to go.

Add your name to make it personally YOURS.

I Spy for Baby Beau

This is a fun quilt to make and a fun one for a child for years and years to come. 150 different squares of fabric were purchased, found in my stash or sent from friends all over. Jayne sent a few that meant a lot to the family and then I set out to cut, sew and add lots of love to each stitch.
The words "I Spy" is embroidered all around on the black with primary colored thread, finished up with a colorful piping and special words embroidered on the back.

I hope that Baby Beau will love his very special quilt sent to him by his very special Aunt Jayne.

Purple and Paisley

This one went to a lovely lady in Ozark, Alabama....Thank you Susie for the referral :-)

Happy New Year

As I reflect back through this last year....wow, it has been one with many ups and downs.

I am so fortunate to have a very loving husband, children, and two of the cutest grandsons on earth. We are so fortunate to live close to them to be a part of their lives.

I did a little traveling this year. In June, I joined a group of lovely ladies for 8 glorious days in Utah, touring, shopping, scrapbooking and just having fun.
In August, a few days before school started, Michelle, the boys and I drove to see Nana and Richard in Kentucky.
And, in December, I flew to Alabama to see Barb and Chuck and their lovely dream home on their 22 acres.

We received some shocking and unexpected news in March that my father had passed away from a heart attack at the Citrus Memorial Speedway. He died doing what he loved best. He was 2 months shy of 75 years old and racing was always his passion. It was so nice to see so many of his old racing buddies at his memorial. He would have been so proud to know that he had so many friends.

My dear friend Kate took ill after a fall the first of June and died 2 months later at the age of 92 years young. She was the sweetest, kindest, and most beautiful person that I have ever known and so proud to say that I knew her my entire life. She was my adopted grandmother.

This past Monday, my grandson's grandfather died, RIP Hubert Robinson.

Heaven has 3 more stars this year, we will miss you all.

We are truly looking forward to 2011. I finally convinced my mom and stepdad to sell their motorhome (Winter home) and buy a condo not far from us. They did and are happy as can be, and we look forward to sharing in their happines for years to come.

So as we say goodbye to 2010, I don't think I will make any resolutions this year, nor any word of the year. I just plan to take inventory of my life and move the more important things to the top of the list. Family, health, fun, friends, joy, happiness, and most of all LOVE. I love all of you and thank you for stopping by this year to see what's new and what I have to share.

God Bless you ALL...Happy New Year...Happy 2011!

Teresa

Tinkerbell for a special girl

A former co-worker and friend ordered this bag for her daughter to use as a book bag. She was thrilled when she came to pick it up. That always makes me feel good :-)

A little of this and a little of that

Did you miss me? I apologize for being gone so long. I have been busy....I promise. I have been putting some things up in my ETSY store, the link is over to the side and you can always click on that.

Let's see. I made this really cute pink camo tote bag and guess what, it sold quick. But, I have more fabric and could make another just like it if you like.

Also, check out this cute pink lady bug tote bag. Adorable for anyone, but extra special for a diaper bag for that special baby girl.
