Happy New Year
As I reflect back through this last year....wow, it has been one with many ups and downs.
I am so fortunate to have a very loving husband, children, and two of the cutest grandsons on earth. We are so fortunate to live close to them to be a part of their lives.
I did a little traveling this year. In June, I joined a group of lovely ladies for 8 glorious days in Utah, touring, shopping, scrapbooking and just having fun.
In August, a few days before school started, Michelle, the boys and I drove to see Nana and Richard in Kentucky.
And, in December, I flew to Alabama to see Barb and Chuck and their lovely dream home on their 22 acres.
We received some shocking and unexpected news in March that my father had passed away from a heart attack at the Citrus Memorial Speedway. He died doing what he loved best. He was 2 months shy of 75 years old and racing was always his passion. It was so nice to see so many of his old racing buddies at his memorial. He would have been so proud to know that he had so many friends.
My dear friend Kate took ill after a fall the first of June and died 2 months later at the age of 92 years young. She was the sweetest, kindest, and most beautiful person that I have ever known and so proud to say that I knew her my entire life. She was my adopted grandmother.
This past Monday, my grandson's grandfather died, RIP Hubert Robinson.
Heaven has 3 more stars this year, we will miss you all.
We are truly looking forward to 2011. I finally convinced my mom and stepdad to sell their motorhome (Winter home) and buy a condo not far from us. They did and are happy as can be, and we look forward to sharing in their happines for years to come.
So as we say goodbye to 2010, I don't think I will make any resolutions this year, nor any word of the year. I just plan to take inventory of my life and move the more important things to the top of the list. Family, health, fun, friends, joy, happiness, and most of all LOVE. I love all of you and thank you for stopping by this year to see what's new and what I have to share.
God Bless you ALL...Happy New Year...Happy 2011!
Teresa
