Runner T-shirts - Memory quilt

Memory quilt - Made from your shirts.

 Approximately 50 x 60 inches and takes 25 - 30 shirts.
This one was made for a lady that is a runner. She actually had 63 shirts and loved this one so much that I am making another from the rest of the shirts.

Interested in one for you or someone you know...let me know????

Great way to honor a hobby, a childhood, or a life.

Texas Longhorns

We have been waiting to show you all this Texas Longhorn beauty because it was a birthday present from me and Michelle to Fredy. We celebrated birthdays and Father's day yesterday...oh what fun we all had too :-)

We ordered fabric for the backing (as it's a little hard to find Texas fabric in Florida) and then Michelle started to "borrow" shirts from Fredy's closet - one by one. LOL She then got chicken and had to tell him she was taking them and gave him a little hint as to what she needed them for. It still didn't seem to spoil the surprise. He was SUPER thrilled to receive his quilt and his shirts are no longer just hanging in his closet. They are now forever preserved into this quilt for him to use and use and use.

Happy Birthday Fredy

University of North Florida

Ever wonder what to do with all of your college shirts that you no longer wear, but do NOT want to get rid of????

Yep, you guessed it...make a memory quilt from them.
Soft and cozy, this quilt measures around 50 x 60 inches and is perfect for getting cozy on the sofa to watch all those college games :-)

It takes about 25 - 30 shirts....let me know if you are interested.

Sara's Quilts

My dear friend Sara was a cheerleader in High School and decided that she wanted to do something with her uniforms as a keepsake for her children. Having only 2 uniforms presented a bit of a challenge, but we decided that we would get creative and add a little bit of green and gold (her school colors) to add to the uniforms.

I am very pleased at the outcome and so excited that I get to present these to you in person on Saturday. Hope you LOVE them Sara :-)

Dance Costume Quilt

I just love making something useful from something in our closets, especially if they have great meaning to us. This quilt surely has loads of meaning to the person it was made for and also to me. I made the majority of these dance costumes over the years and was honored to be able to put them all together for a showcase or as we call then MEMORY QUILT.

And... what a perfect gift from her mom to her for her 30th birthday :-) I have been waiting to share the pictures with all of you until now...until the gift was received.

I hope that you loved it Jaimee :-)

Gator Quilt

Oh how I love to make t-shirt quilts and rather proud of how this one turned out. A good friend of mine asked me to make this one for her son...can't wait to hear how it was received.
