Decorations and Memories
Yes, the decorations are all set, the gifts are "almost" all wrapped, the menu is set, the grocery shopping mostly done and the baking is about to begin :-)
I took a few moments this morning to reflect on Christmas' past and some of the handmade decorations that I have made over the years.
The ceramic Santa has been a part of my decorations for almost 40 years....way back in the day, we would go to ceramics classes.
All of the wooden Santas were made as a series. I always particpated in a craft fair at Pasadena Church and each year I would present a new Santa. Was so much fun creating them and the best part was getting to spend an entire day with such lovely people, especially my daughter who would come to help me and also friends who came to help man my table as well.
Memories, creations and friendship.....it's a wonderful thing.
FIVE days until Christmas, but who's counting :-)

Back in the day......:) I too had a ceramic Santa just like your's. In all the moving around I have lost all my ceramic and really miss my Christmas ones. Merry Christmas Teresa and a Happy New Year.

I think my much older sister has that Santa too! She did a bunch of those sunny faces creatures, including a cheerleader for me. I still have them in the bottom of my hope chest. We should revive the fad!
I too have all the wooden Santa's that you made. Brings back memories and families together. Hope they will be around after I am gone. Love you.
With the exception of the ceramic Santa, I have all of the Santas that you posted and the angel too!! They are all so special to me . . .ahhh, the wonderful memories . . .
oh my mom made that same Santa and so did my grandma and aunts. We all took ceramics at the community center my mom worked at. What a great memory! thank you. I have not thought about him in years. I wish I had him.
Merry Christmas my friend!
