Lucky me

I have always said that I wasn't a very lucky person. But I was so wrong. I have had an opportunity to see life a little differently lately and boy oh boy am I a lucky girl.

I am lucky to have a great life, a great family, great friends and as luck would have it....oh so lucky to WIN the grand prize over at MC's Friendship corner.

Go take a peak at MC's little corner of the world. What a talented lady and wowzer...I still can't believe I won the Grand Prize for the year and all those wonderful products. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

At 2:22 this morning, my beautiful baby girl was 30 years old. On one hand, it seems like only yesterday, and on the other, it seems like she has always been a part of our life.


She is a GREAT Mommy, GREAT Sister, GREAT Daughter and even greater friend.

We Three Kings

The King on the left is our youngest grandson, Peyton. His preschool presented, "The First Christmas Gift" earlier this week.

The children did a wonderful job and we thoroughly enjoyed the musical celebration.

Lady bugs for a lovely lady

This bag is a special order for a special lady that I have only met via internet. It is such a small world that we live in :-)

My insurance lady and good friend, Helen, was on a vacation in New York and met Tracy at the Albany airport. They were talking and Tracy admired Helen's bag. Well, being the friend that she is, Helen gave Tracy my email address and the rest is history.

We designed the bag via email and hopefully Tracy will have her cute lady bug tote in her hands in a day or so. Yes, Tracy, I put it on Santa's sleigh on Monday...LOL

Tracy, I hope that all your dreams come true and that these lady bugs bring you all the joy and love that you hope for.

cleaning house

Well, yes I am cleaning house.

My baby sister will be 50 in 3 days and her hubby surprised her with a little birthday get together on Saturday at their home in Weeki Wachi. What a wonderful spread of food and lots of fun and laughter. Let me tell you, Allen is the BEST BBQ guru that I have ever met. mmmmmm good.

Here is Cindy with her birthday present. She now has her very own Hobie kayak complete with cup holder, beer cooler a/k/a bait well...lol
(You would have to know my sister to appreciate that one.) :-)

Fantastic Friday

I suppose I could say that I had a "Big Biscuit" day today...that is what a scrapbook friend, Kip calls it.
I had to run a few errands...JoAnn's Fabrics was calling my name and boy oh boy did I do good there. I think the entire store is on sale and I got lots of good deals.

Then I stopped at another store and picked up a gift. The store had just what I was looking for... so I was thrilled. I wait in line to pay and the fellow says to me. It is your lucky day, this item was on sale for 95% off. Can you believe that one? How can you go in, find what you want and then get it for 95% off? No, I didn't type that wrong...95% off. I am not sure if the cash register was just doing that randomly or if it was just on sale. But I sure didn't argue...just said thank you and smiled all the way home. I can't tell you what the item is because it is a present .....shhhhh

At least I am feeling better today, didn't feel too great the last couple of days. Maybe a bug going around...but I feel better...so that's all that matters.

I took my new glasses back and they are fixing the prescription. I am glad to know that I am not as blind as the first guy thought I was. So, in another week...I will be sporting my new glasses and this time hopefully I can see out of them. :-)

Time to move on to Christmas. This morning Zak was taking a few more pictures of ornaments as he was helping me place them on the tree.

I am still sewing like a little elf to get some of those Christmas orders filled. It is SEW nice to have sewing friends that keep me inspired and keep the creative juices flowing...thanks friends :-)
