Sara's Quilts

My dear friend Sara was a cheerleader in High School and decided that she wanted to do something with her uniforms as a keepsake for her children. Having only 2 uniforms presented a bit of a challenge, but we decided that we would get creative and add a little bit of green and gold (her school colors) to add to the uniforms.

I am very pleased at the outcome and so excited that I get to present these to you in person on Saturday. Hope you LOVE them Sara :-)

Brown and Teal

I found this piece of fabric with the really cool bird, I just happened to have a teal that matched perfect, so the adorable tote was born.
Brown back, brown handles, teal inside with lots of pockets. Snap closure.
Very sturdy bag.

More - FUN Purses

I told you I was having fun making these...LOL

The black and white with the cute yellow flower is already sold, the black/white/teal has a big sister, a matching tote.

Autism Awareness - FUN Purse

A Donation was made to Autism Awareness with the purchase of this fabric. The cute colorful puzzle pieces, colorful buttons and these awesome flowers that I am having so much fun making.....A cute FUN purse to grab and go and for a great cause too.

Pink and Lime Patchwork

If you love pink and lime green....you are gonna love this one....bright, fun and oh so useful. How fun would it be to use as a shopping bag, bag to carry things back and forth to work, or even to use to carry baby's things?

The top flags all around are "prairie points" and add some colorful fun.

This cutie is available for sale, if interested let me know.

Weekender

I decided to make something for myself for a change :-) I have been looking for the perfect weekender bag and when I saw this pattern from Amy Butler, I had to have it. It is big and roomy, top zipper, front and back pockets and also side pockets. Heavy interfacing, lined with same fabric, and orange piping. Looking forward to using it the next time I get away.

Still trying to decide if I want to make another though...LOL I have been sewing for a very long time and the pattern was really weird to figure out. If I do decide to do it again, I will surely make a few changes - for the better in my opinion.
